Service charge and leasehold disputes

Service Charge Disputes

We can offer professional legal advice in relation to service charge disputes whether you are a leaseholder or a freeholder. Jane Canham, our specialist solicitor in the field, has many years of experience. Jane will work closely with you to ensure you receive the correct procedural and practical advice. She will also represent you at tribunal if necessary. Please call us to discuss your requirements on 0208 832 9069.

Right of First refusal

If your freehold has been sold without your knowledge or is in the process of being sold then by law the freeholder is required to give the right of first refusal. The right of first refusal means that as a leaseholder you have the right to acquire the freehold before the general public or other private individual or company.

If you suspect you have not been served a Section 5 notice and you have not been offered the freehold first then please contact us to discuss the matter. This is a complex area of law and you will need legal advice before approaching the freeholder or their solicitor. Please call us to discuss your requirements on 0208 832 9069.

We can also provide advice on the following:

  • RTM (right to manage)
