We are the first and currently the only company in the UK to offer both the valuation and legal side for lease extensions and collective enfranchisement in house. Our Solicitors and Valuers work in the same building. The main advantages for clients are convenience, lower costs and good communication between the Solicitors and Valuers.
Our Solicitors are highly experienced in Leasehold Reform matters having previously worked for large London firms. They are fully qualified and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA).
Whether you take the formal or informal route for your lease extension or freehold purchase you will need a Solicitor. The leasehold reform legislation is complicated and there are many traps for the unwary. The Solicitors role is similar to that of a Conveyancer when a property is purchased. They will prepare and deal with the notices, agreement of the new lease and registration of the new lease at the Land Registry. For a freehold purchase they will also deal with transferring the freehold title.
If you have already appointed a surveyor you can use our legal services only. We work closely with chartered surveyors on a daily basis and we know what surveyors need, after all we are surveyors as well.
