We were instructed by the Freeholder to act in regard to a collective enfranchisement claim on a block in Fulham. The flats are high value and there was a considerable development claim to be made to the roof and basement. We co-ordinated the Architects and the Counsel and served a Counter Notice at £500,000. After some negotiation and an application to the Tribunal the leaseholders backed down and the claim was withdrawn. A separate negotiation was carried out with the upper flat for the roof top development. The Freeholder was pleased to hang onto the freehold.
